In recent years, you may have noticed a change in trend in regards to sport and casual footwear, with lighter, breathable material being used as the shoes upper. This is a trend that took off after both Adidas and Nike implemented their own lightweight inventive fabric for optimal performance footwear – Nike’s Flyknit and Adidas Primeknit.

So what is Adidas Primeknit? Primeknit is Adidas’s own branded methodology of creating high quality, ultra-lightweight durable boots that have revolutionised sports footwear. Whereas classic, basic sporting footwear is usually made from numerous separate pieces of leather (or some other material) stitched together, the Primeknit method knits the entire upper portion of the shoe digitally and in one piece. Primeknit uses which allows the company to digitally fine-tune the exact amount of flexibility, stability and support athletes need in the exact parts that they need it. The result is high-quality, long lasting, super lightweight footwear that wraps around the foot almost like a sock, providing comfort and allowing athletes to perform at the peak of their game.

Adidas have been at the forefront of the woven revolution, the beginning of which was in 2010 when several of the company’s employees visited Frankfurt’s Fair in Germany. Whilst there, two of the Adidas team noted a glove at the fair that was knitted with which allowed the glove to be both flexible and extremely light whilst maintaining fantastic durability.

The discovery of the glove sparked a light bulb moment and Adidas had the ingenious thought to apply the same technology and knitting process to a sporting shoe. At the same time, Adidas Design had just engaged in an agreement with a group of furniture designers who were given the responsibility of coming up with fresh original ideas and designs for potential future sport shoes. One such designer, Alexander Taylor, was soon in communication with Adidas on the potential such a knitted shoe could have.

From this point, the company began investigating various progressive knitting technologies, machines and processes as well as seeking the advice from external flat knit experts and as a result, Adidas built strong connections with various machine suppliers in Germany that would prove to be very auspicious, eventually helping to produce the first Primeknit prototypes.

After a successful presentation of the idea to Chief Marketing Officer Hermann Deininger and his subsequent approval, the project was soon underway. After only 12 months, Adidas had its first official series of Primeknit shoes – a concept that would revolutionise sporting footwear forever.

Main articles: Culture of Greece and List of Greeks
The ancient theatre of Epidaurus is nowadays used for staging ancient Greek drama shows.

The culture of Greece has evolved over thousands of years, with its beginnings in the Mycenaean and Minoan Civilizations , continuing most notably into Classical Greece , the Hellenistic Period , through the influence of the Roman Empire and its Cheap Sale View Store Sale Online Pleated Striped ALine Dress Eliza J Cheap Fashion Style Sale Enjoy z61JLUv
successor the Byzantine Empire . The Ottoman Empire too had a significant influence on Greek culture, but the Greek War of Independence is credited with revitalizing Greece and giving birth to a single entity of its multi-faceted culture throughout the ages.

Main article: Ancient Greek philosophy

Most western philosophical traditions began in ancient Greece in the 6th century BC.The first philosophers are called "Presocratics" which designates that they came before Socrates. The Presocratics were from the western or the eastern colonies of Greece and only fragments of the original writings of the presocratics survive, in some cases merely a single sentence.

A new period of philosophy started with Socrates . Like the Sophists , he rejected entirely the physical speculations in which his predecessors had indulged, and made the thoughts and opinions of people his starting-point. Aspects of Socrates were first united from The Cheapest For Sale Prices Woven OfftheShoulder Top Jack by BB Dakota Clearance Fake Cheap Sale Sale From China Free Shipping XHy9E6dd

The is unlikely to release in 2019, let alone make its way to retail this year, according to a new report quoting sources close to the development of the console. While it was previously rumored that dev kits for the PlayStation 5 had been sent out to developers, with this speculation suggesting that the PS5 would be released sooner rather than later, the console is instead more likely to launch in 2020 than it is in the next two years.

PlayStation 5

The report, published by Kotaku in collaboration with sources “familiar with Sony’s console development,” suggests that Sony is still a long way away from launching the PS5, with the console rumored to release no sooner than 2020. “[The sources] both told me that the next PlayStation is unlikely to release in 2019, let alone 2018, although they were careful to be clear that these plans are always shifting,” the report fromJason Schreier reads.

Schreier goes on to claim that while information regarding the PS5 is “floating around,” it’s far less than what would be expected if the console was set for release in 2018 or 2019. With the PS4 still enjoying incredibly healthy sales and blockbuster first-party games such as The Last of Us 2 right around the corner, that the PS5 isn’t on Sony’s immediate radar isn’t much of a surprise. However, with SemiAccurate having previously reported that PS5 dev kits were being sent out, rumors began to circulate that the console was in production and it would be arriving sooner rather than later.

PS5 Release Date Rumors: When Will the PlayStation 5 Launch?

The PS5 release date is still a long way off, judging by this report. Despite the launch of the PS4 taking place nearly five years ago, iterative upgrades such as the PS4 Pro should ensure that this console cycle lasts longer than usual. For comparison, the PS3 launched over six years following the PS2’s release in 2000, though with the PS4 Pro having given the console’s games a graphical and performance boost, its technology isn’t notably outdated.

While many are eager to see what the next console generation has to offer, others are comfortable with sticking to this current generation for the time being. With jumps to new generations being a costly endeavor, Sony will want to get the most out of the PS4 before its sales start to decline, which isn’t going to happen anytime soon thanks to the impending releases of God of War , Spider-Man , Red Dead Redemption 2 and more.

In other news, we discussed our thoughts on the PS5 in the first episode of our Cross-Play Podcast, which you can listen to right here .

Dining Long time chef and restaurateur Richard Perry dies at 79

Richard Perry, the St. Louis chef in the forefront of the Modern American food movement and a man who brought new levels to Midwestern home-style cooking, died Christmas Day in St. Louis.

He first came to the attention of St. Louis diners with his Jefferson Avenue Boarding House, a second floor spot at the corner of Jefferson and Utah. It was one of the legendary Class of ‘72, a group of restaurants that changed St. Louis dining. The upstairs dining room, with walls the color of milk chocolate was far more plush than anything seen on Jefferson Avenue since the time of the World’s Fair. Lots of food from local suppliers soon became the standard there, and Perry was considered in his very public enthusiasm for it much on a par with Alice Waters. The restaurant went from a format of “This is what you’ll eat tonight” to a written menu with choices, but from the start, Perry, at that point the front-of-the-house guy, was apologizing for the jam served with the housemade bread, for example, because “We don’t make that ourselves.” (Jim Belshaw was working the kitchen then, although I can’t imagine Richard not diving into, say, the bread-making.)

Eventually, although he kept the Jefferson property, he ran the dining room at the Hotel Majestic downtown (where there was an episode with Mick Jagger and a clumsy waiter), and then spent several years in Cincinnati running a restaurant at the Omni Hotel there. His return to St. Louis was to create the Lindell Terrace Cafe Bar, with the same high-caliber comfort food for which he was known, no longer cutting edge but still tasty. In the process, he found salt shakers that could have been made in his image – all of which rode out of the restaurant in pockets and purses, unfortunately. After he moved to the East Side, there was the Farmer’s Inn and Prairie Kitchen in a country farmhouse, where he also offered a Sunday breakfast as delightful as the brunch from the Boarding House years.

In recent years, his health had deteriorated, but his mind remained agile and he worked on writing detective fiction with a chef as the main character.
